STREET & PATH

Recreational

Mountain Bike (entry level)

  • Upright riding position
  • Geared
  • Inexpensive
  • Moderate comfort although you may wish to upgrade the saddle
  • Heavier and slower than pro models and hybrids
  • Budget models aren't suitable for off-road enthusiasts or tricks

Cruiser

  • Stylish cruising for flat paths
  • Most comfortable
  • May not have gears
  • Back pedal brake
  • Not practical to ride fast

Simple Street Bikes

  • Models available to suit ages 3-5 years, 5-8 years, and 8-10 years
  • 3 wheel sizes 12” , 16" ,  20”
  • 12" & 16" bicycles usually have a back pedal brake, front hand brake & training wheels
  • Note: When choosing a bike for your child consider their height, leg length & confidence
